Registered Clinical Counseling
What is a Registered Clinical Counsellor?
A Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) is someone who’s here to listen, understand, and walk alongside you through life’s challenges. In British Columbia, RCCs are members of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors — which means they’ve completed advanced education (a master’s degree or higher in counselling or a related field), extensive supervised training, and follow a strict code of ethics to keep your care safe and respectful.
How We Can Help
Life can be overwhelming, and you don’t have to go through it alone. RCCs work with people of all ages — individuals, couples, and families — to support mental and emotional well-being.
We can help with things like:
Feeling stressed, anxious, or stuck
Working through depression or low mood
Navigating grief and loss
Strengthening relationships or parenting skills
Adjusting to life changes
Healing from trauma
Building self-confidence
Managing workplace stress or burnout
What to Expect
Your counselling sessions are your space — private, supportive, and free of judgment. Together, we’ll:
Talk about what’s going on in your life right now
Explore what’s important to you and what you’d like to change
Find practical tools and strategies you can use every day
Work at your pace, using approaches that fit your personality and needs
There’s no “one-size-fits-all” in counselling — we’ll work together to find the path that’s right for you.
Why Choose an RCC?
When you work with an RCC, you’re choosing someone who is professionally trained, accountable to ethical standards, and committed to ongoing learning — all to provide you with the best possible care.
Most of all, you’re choosing someone who will meet you with empathy, respect, and genuine care for your well-being.
Your journey matters — we’re here to walk alongside you.
